Pop singer Daniela Alfinito achieves the highest new entry in the album charts – she only has to admit defeat to the US band Linkin Park.
Although released two months ago, Linkin Park are stepping up their game again with their album. ““From Zero” rockets back from two to one in the official German charts, as determined by GfK Entertainment,” the hit list investigators announced on Friday in Baden-Baden. This is the third time the plant has been at the top.
Pop singer Daniela Alfinito has the highest new entry in second place. Her album is called – in keeping with the beginning of the year – “Look Forward”. Third place goes to superstar Billie Eilish (“Hit Me Hard And Soft”).
New to the four is the Saarland Oi band Krawallbrüder (“Unverhohlen & Unverzerrt III”), followed by the US singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams (“The Secret Of Us”). Also new in the album charts are, for example, the rapper Lil Baby (“Wham”, number 19) and hit interpreter Marie Reim (“Zodiac Sign Love”, number 23). The previous week’s number one (Thomas Anders and Florian Silbereisen with their second joint album “Again!”) fell to 12th place.
Rosé and Bruno Mars continue to be number one in singles
In the German single charts it is in the top three like last week: Rosé and Bruno Mars reign supreme with their duet “APT.” on the one.
Behind it are Gracie Abrams (“That’s So True”) and Nina Chuba (“Fata Morgana”). Fourth and fifth place swapped places: Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars (“Die With A Smile”) are now ahead of Linkin Park (“The Emptiness Machine”). The highest newcomer among the singles is “Surprise” by Loredana on number 25.
