Tyson Fury has announced the end of his career once again. The boxing star announces his retirement from the sport.

Was that it now? Tyson Fury (36) will probably no longer get into the ring. The British boxing star has announced that he is retiring from the sport. “Hello everyone, I’ll keep it short and sweet. I would like to announce my retirement from boxing,” Fury says in the short clip.

For Tyson Fury it was “a great pleasure”

“It was a great pleasure,” Tyson Fury continued. The former world heavyweight boxing champion “enjoyed every single minute of it”. In the attached comment he also thanks everyone “who helped along the way.”

Fury had previously said goodbye several times. He last announced his retirement in April 2022 after winning against Dillian Whyte (36). However, there was a comeback later. A few weeks ago, the “Gypsy King” lost a second time to Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Ussyk (37) in a rematch. According to media reports, the resignation may come as a surprise to fans of the sport. There had been rumors that Fury could compete against Anthony Joshua (35).

It is still unclear what exactly the 36-year-old means by the end of his short resignation message. “Dick Turpin wore a mask. God bless everyone, see you on the other side,” Fury says. Turpin was a notorious 18th century English robber. Fury may be alluding to his autobiography “Behind the Mask,” which was published a few years ago and which in German is titled “I Behind the Mask.”
