Actress Mandy Moore has found shelter with her good friend Hilary Duff following the devastating wildfires in LA.

“This Is Us” star Mandy Moore (40) lost her home in the Altadena area due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. The actress and her husband Taylor Goldsmith and their three children aged between three months and three years apparently found shelter with none other than their long-time friend, actress Hilary Duff (37), and her husband Matthew Koma. This was revealed by Moore’s brother-in-law, musician Griffin Goldsmith.

Goldsmith shared several photos showing the destruction of his own home and provides insight into his inner life. It is impossible to express how they are feeling. “We lost everything,” said the musician. His wife had just finished furnishing the children’s room for the baby they are expecting in the coming weeks. However, the love and generosity shown to him and his family was “overwhelming,” said the musician. He especially wanted to thank Hilary Duff and her husband because they had set up a GoFundMe campaign for them.

“Not to mention they are currently hosting my brother’s family,” Goldsmith adds. “They have taken care of my entire family since the beginning. I will never be able to thank them adequately. That is the kindest thing one person can do for another. They are the most wonderful, selfless people we have ever met.”

Mandy Moore herself, who only became a mother for the third time in September 2024, had already said that she and her family were staying with friends, but did not say who they were. She feels “endless gratitude” for friends who took her in and brought them clothes.
