Ross Antony: The pop star has lost 27 kilos

After his appearance on “Schlagerchampions – The Big Festival of the Best” on Saturday evening (January 11th), the new figure of Ross Antony (50) in particular was a topic of conversation. On the stage of Florian Silbereisen’s (43) show, the pop singer appeared significantly slimmer, with darker hair and a completely new look. Instead of colorful glitter, the British native wore an all-black outfit with jeans and a leather jacket.

Now Antony reveals what is behind his transformation. The 50-year-old explained that he and his husband Paul Reeves have each lost 27 kilos. “I now weigh 83 kilograms and am 1.77 meters tall and feel very comfortable with it. Before that, I weighed 110 kilograms. That was due to the Corona period, in which I often ate too much out of boredom – especially sweets “, says Antony. His mother in particular would have recommended that he lose a little weight.

Husband Paul joined the project out of solidarity. “It wasn’t that easy in the first two months and I became a moody bear,” said Ross Antony to “Bild”. “But then I got used to it and noticed that the pounds were slowly falling off. That’s of course a motivation.”

According to Antony, the plan behind the weight loss is as follows: “We only eat twice a day: morning and evening. And I leave out sweets entirely. Husband Paul prepares a lot of fish and vegetables at home. When the two of them go to a restaurant to eat, they order just one more portion, which they then share.

But sport shouldn’t be neglected either: “We play a lot of tennis and golf, and we also like to go horseback riding and swimming. That’s our sports program. We don’t go to the gym, but we get enough exercise.”

Antony also explains his new hair color and changed look: “Paul colored it for me. I wanted to show a different side of myself. And I already wore the leather jacket when I was Bro’Sis. Now it fits me again.” His famous colorful outfits, however, are history: “The glittery things don’t fit me anymore, we’ve stored them in our stash,” says Antony.
