4 Non Blondes reunites for its first official performance in 30 years. The festival BottleRock Napa Valley announced its lineup for the three-day festival taking place in May. Among the bands that will perform is 4 Non Blondes, which broke up in 1994.

Since their separation, the creators of success “What’s Up?” have not reunited to play live, except for a brief one-off performance for a benefit concert in Los Angeles in 2014. The upcoming performance at BottleRock will mark their first official concert since the split.

What Linda Perry said about the 4 Non Blondes reunion
Speaking to Allison Hagendorf, the leader Linda Perry he said when asked why now is the right time for a reunion: “It’s not, but it feels right in my head and in my heart. I have been emitting that energy, because I want 2025 to be my year. “I want to own this year because I feel like I have been planting seeds everywhere and I am watching my little trees grow.”
He added that BottleRock offered him a gig for 4 Non Blondes and called the other members of the band, who he says he “doesn’t talk about”: “They were excited, so I’m going to hang out with them in San Francisco, rehearse and just fool around. . I don’t really have a plan but I’ll just see how I feel“.
Perry also added that the band had recorded a second album in 1994 before their split, but that he would “leave it at that.” Speaking about the band’s breakup, he said: “I was in a very bad place during that time, because my feelings get hurt very easily. And then I left the band because my feelings kept getting hurt and I didn’t know how to deal with it.”
