Singer Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson are separating
Ten years ago, Jessica Simspon married ex-football player Eric Johnson and the couple had three children. But now there has been a “painful affair” in the marriage, says Simpson.
The US singer Jessica Simpson (44) and her husband Eric Johnson (45) have separated after around ten years of marriage. “Eric and I are separated and dealing with a painful issue in our marriage,” Simpson told People magazine. “Our children come first and we focus on what is best for them.”
Simpson and the former football player married in 2014 and have three children. The singer, who rose to fame with songs like “I Wanna Love You Forever,” was previously married to singer Nick Lachey between 2002 and 2005.
