The Government confirmed a new increase within the framework of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH)which is perceived through the National Social Security Administration (ANSES). According to what is established, the amount for February will have the same increase as the inflation corresponding to the December 2024 period.
This measure, implemented by the government of Javier Mileiseeks to reinforce family income in a context of inflation and increased cost of living.
How much will the increase for the AUH be in February
In accordance with those established by Decree 274/2024, the AUH will receive an increase every month, taking as reference the Consumer Price Index (CPI)two months late. In this case, The increase from December 2024 is taken, which was 2.7%.
In this way, the total amount of the AUH will rise from $95,548 to $98,127although taking into account the ANSES withholding (20%), the final value remains at $78,502.
The groups that will receive an increase are the following: Universal Child Allowance (AUH); Universal Pregnancy Allowance (AUE); Child allowance (family salary) from the SUAF system; Retirements and pensions; Universal benefit for older adults (PUAM); Non-contributory pensions (PNC); and Universal Basic Benefit (PBU).
ANSES: the government of Javier Milei confirmed a bonus of $300,000 for January 2025
The bonus complements the usual amounts of the social benefitslike the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and other aid programs, in addition to including additional benefits such as the Alimentar Card and the Milk Supplement.
The announced bonus will reach $300,000, considering the following accumulated benefits for those who receive the AUH:

Universal Child Allowance (AUH): $76,436.30.

Universal Allowance for a Child with a Disability: $248,897.77.

Pregnancy Allowance: $76,436.30.
In addition, beneficiary families will also receive the Alimentar Card, which offers the following amounts:

Families with three or more children: $108,062.

Families with two children: $81,936.

Families with one child: $52,250.
On the other hand, the Milk Supplementintended for pregnant mothers and families with children under 3 years old, will provide $36,023,296. Also, the $78,000 corresponding to other programs such as Return to Work or Social Support.
