British music star Rod Stewart just turned 80. Now he wants to support the foundation of King Charles III. – with a special person at his side.
Musician Rod Stewart (80) takes on a special task. He and his wife Penny Lancaster will become ambassadors for King Charles III’s charity, the King’s Foundation in Great Britain announced. The foundation is committed to crafts, sustainability and agriculture.
Other ambassadors include ex-professional footballer David Beckham and actress Sienna Miller. Stewart now joins his wife Penny, who is a model and photographer.
The British musician (“Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?”, “Sailing”, “Maggie May”) turned 80 last week. Since being honored by the British royal family in 2016, he has been allowed to call himself “Sir”.
