“Holiday on Ice” is recording dream numbers: 400,000 tickets have already been sold. A special highlight awaits with guest star Sarah Engels.

The current “Holiday on Ice” show “Horizons” is becoming a crowd puller. As the organizer announced, 400,000 tickets have already been sold for the German tour, which runs until the end of April 2025. A special highlight awaits viewers with the return of Sarah Engels (32).

Emotional comeback on the ice

The 31-year-old singer will appear as a guest star at a total of four shows: on February 13th in Bremen, on February 28th in Berlin, on March 21st in Cologne and at the tour finale on April 25th in Düsseldorf. Unlike her last engagement in the 2019/2020 season, where she appeared as an ice skater herself, this time Engels will put her musical talent in the foreground. With the songs “Forever” and “Te amo mi amor” she accompanies the performance of the ice artists.

“I have wonderful memories with ‘Holiday on Ice’. Coming back this season means a lot to me,” says the artist, looking forward to her performances.

Other stars on “Holiday on Ice”

In addition to Sarah Engels, newcomer Loi (22) will also enrich the show in selected cities. The young vocal miracle will be performing her hit “Gold” and the ballad “Left in Your Love” on January 22nd in Stuttgart and on February 6th in Hamburg. “I’m really looking forward to appearing on ‘Holiday on Ice’,” enthuses the 22-year-old. “The audience can be excited.”

For Sasha (52), however, it’s time to say goodbye. The singer has already appeared as a guest star in four shows. On January 17th he will perform his hits “Lucky Day” and “If you believe” for the last time in Dortmund.

Ice show breaks records

The show “Horizons” is touring until April 25, 2025, combining figure skating with modern technology and live singing. “Holiday on Ice” looks back on a long tradition: Since the first show on December 25, 1943 in the USA, more than 60,000 performances have been played in over 630 cities in over 80 countries worldwide.

The success story is also reflected in several Guinness World Records. “Holiday on Ice” has held the title of “most watched ice show in the world” since 2008 with 320 million viewers. Over the past 80 years, numerous Olympic and world champions have appeared on the show, which is now one of the best-known entertainment productions in the world.
