Jan Fedder: His widow talks about “a new man”

Jan Fedder belonged to Hamburg like the famous “Michel.” The popular actor, known from series such as “Großstadtrevier”, would have turned 70 on Tuesday. Together with long-time friends and a real shanty choir, his widow Marion (63) celebrated her Jan’s birthday in the Hamburg cult bar “Zur Ritze”. During the celebrations, she also commented on the rumors of a new relationship.

The “crack” was his living room, as Fedder repeatedly emphasized. No wonder that his widow Marion gathered an illustrious group of old friends here to posthumously celebrate the actor’s milestone birthday. Both were a couple for 23 years and married for 19 years: “Jan always loved celebrating his birthdays. With lots of people and colorfully and fun. It should stay that way,” said his widow. Long-time friends like Jessica Stockmann (57) and HP Baxxter (60) and his wife Sara (23) Fedder also paid homage to the celebration. The “Scooter” frontman: “We were friends for a very long time, his memory will be honored.” And he adds melancholy: “You think Jan is coming around the corner at any moment.”

In the Hamburg cult bar, which often served as a “big city district” backdrop, “Bild” also spoke to Marion Fedder about a possible new love in her life. She had recently been seen more often with a male companion – whether walking around the Alster or at events: “It’s now been five years since Jan died. That’s a long time and I think about him every day He’s still deep in my heart. But Jan wouldn’t have wanted me to stay alone. He always said: ‘Sweetness, live your life, just like I did’. During the birthday party, the party swayed in the “Ritze” to the sounds of the shanty choir “De Elbshippers”. A new anthem for Jan Fedder was also presented, in which the deceased can be heard together with the Hamburg Police Orchestra. Folk actor Fedder would certainly have had a great time.
