Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster are ambassadors for the King’s Foundation and are visiting King Charles in Scotland. A fun visit for everyone.
Britain’s King Charles meets representatives of his King’s Foundation at Dumfries House in southwest Scotland to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the charity’s founding. Participants include television presenter and author Alan Titchmarsh and singer Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster. Both are also ambassadors for the charity.
As the anniversary year begins, the King’s Foundation is preparing a time capsule to be sealed and buried in the grounds of Dumfries House for a hundred years. Charles inspects the contents of the time capsule, which included local Scottish newspapers, garden shears, a mug and whiskey, and a letter from the King himself. The King’s Foundation said the time capsule was intentionally kept simple to highlight the British wood used and to allow King’s Foundation students and alumni to add decorative elements throughout the year.
