“It is an honor for me to announce that Jon Voight, Mel Gibson and Sylvester Stallone will be special ambassadors in a great but very conflictive place, HollywoodCalifornia,” Trump wrote Thursday on Truth Social. “You will be my special envoys for the purpose of bringing back Hollywood, which has lost a lot of business in the last four years in foreign countries, BIGGER, BETTER AND STRONGER THAN EVER! These three very talented people will be my eyes and ears, and I will do whatever they suggest.. It will once again be, like the United States of America itself, the golden age of Hollywood!”

Mel Gibson’s reaction to Donald Trump’s announcement

It appears the newly appointed ambassadors had little prior information about the news, as Gibson said he found out at the same time as Trump’s social media supporters.
