Riccardo Simonetti: “Fever and pain” on the honeymoon

Riccardo Simonetti (31) reports to his followers with disturbing news. The influencer is currently traveling through South Africa with his husband. However, there he fell ill with an unspecified illness. “The last few days have been really challenging health-wise,” he wrote on January 17th .

Simonetti suffered from “fever, pain, hallucinations, loss of fluids” and other health restrictions during his honeymoon. It is not clear what triggered the symptoms. However, he received very good medical care in South Africa and a nurse was already waiting for him when he continued his journey to the next hotel.

“Thankfully, after a lot of pills, an injection and twelve hours of sleep in a row, I finally feel better,” the entertainer continued. Thanks to the support of the local people and the travel planner, his health has now recovered to the point where he can still continue the trip.

Riccardo Simonetti was particularly supported by his husband. The couple celebrated a large, private wedding in August 2024, followed by the civil wedding last December. The newly married couple was put to the test when they became ill during their honeymoon, reports the 31-year-old. “Our marriage has definitely had a taste of ‘In good times and in bad’ over the last few days, and I’m so glad that this sweet little mouse stood by me and never lost her smile,” said one Selfie with his partner in another story.
