Some celebrity ladies started their jungle adventure and said goodbye at the airport. Tears also flowed beforehand.

This Saturday (January 18th), Edith Stehfest (29) and Alessia Herren (23), among others, left for Australia from Frankfurt Airport. The two are participants in this year’s jungle camp (from January 24th on RTL or on RTL+). “If I’m honest, I’m really scared,” reported Alessia Herren shortly before departure. But she has firmly decided to “take on every test,” explains Herren, who, 21 years after her late father Willi Herren (1975-2021), is now daring to take the step into the jungle camp.

Things got particularly emotional for Edith Stehfest before she left. She posted an emotional selfie last Friday as she said goodbye to her family. There were “a lot of tears” from her daughter Aria and herself, revealed Stehfest, who traveled to Frankfurt directly after one of her gigs. She recorded her farewell to her husband Eric Stehfest (35), who was also already in the jungle camp. In it, the former “GZSZ” star explains to his wife: “I will miss you, I love you, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you and I’ll hold the fort.” From the plane over Singapore, a more relaxed-looking Edith Stehfest contacted her fans again.

Lilly Becker: “I’m nervous”

Lilly Becker (48) sent before her departure from Zurich Airport. “The time has come, I’m (finally) flying to Australia and entertaining you and myself,” wrote the aspiring jungle camper alongside pictures from the airport. “I’m nervous but also excited. Have a great weekend and see you on the other side.”

before departure that she will fly with her Bible and a talisman from her son Amadeus in her suitcase. Becker also revealed that she hadn’t had much time to prepare for the camp. “It’s all been very stressful the last few days and I had to make sure there was enough food at home for my son when I wasn’t there.” She hopes the camp will be “fun and entertaining and it won’t be too embarrassing for me.”

Other jungle camp candidates have already started their adventure in Australia, including Sam Dylan (33), Nina Bott (47) and Jürgen Hingsen (66).
