Sad news from Los Angeles: Francisco San Martin is dead. The actor was only 39 years old.
The actor Francisco San Martin, known, among other things, for his roles in the series “Jane the Virgin” and the US soap opera “Zeit der Sehnsucht”, is dead. San Martin died on January 16th at the age of 39.
The Spanish-born actor is said to have been found lifeless in his home in Los Angeles. The cause of death is said to be suicide.

Known from “Jane the Virgin”
According to Forbes, Francisco San Martin was born on the island of Mallorca, grew up in the US state of Montana and later moved with his family to the Spanish capital Madrid. The actor has appeared in several Spanish-language film and TV productions. From 2010 to 2011 he played the character Dario Hernandez in 59 episodes of the soap opera “Zeit der Sehnsucht”. In 2017 he appeared as Mateo in 16 episodes of the series “The Rich and the Beautiful”.
Many people will know him from the satirical telenovela “Jane the Virgin”, where he played Fabian Regalo del Cielo, Rogelio’s (Jaime Camil, 51) series co-star and short-term affair, for a total of seven episodes in the third and fourth seasons Jane (Gina Rodriguez, 40).
