Jessica Alba after the breakup: instructions for “healing” and “a good life”

A few days after Jessica Alba (43) confirmed her separation from husband Cash Warren (46) via Instagram after almost 17 years of marriage, the actress once again takes a look at her current emotional world. On Tuesday, January 21, she shared Diego Perez, who goes by Yung Pueblo, on her Instagram Story.

“How do you build a good life?” is the headline of the post that Alba shared with her 20.6 million followers. Instructions are then listed. “Follow your intuition relentlessly. Associate yourself with people who also like to grow,” is Perez’s advice. “Take responsibility for your healing. Love yourself so much that you feel at home in your own body and mind. Teach yourself to forgive. Never stop being a kind person.” Alba added another caption to the spiritual words in her own post: “This.”

The American already announced her new life in her separation announcement. “I have been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” wrote Alba on January 16th about the end of the marriage. “I am proud of how we have grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and now it is time for us to begin a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.” They would continue to treat each other with love, kindness and respect and be a family forever.

Alba and film producer Warren first met on the set of their superhero film “Fantastic Four” (2005). He worked on the production crew, she was in front of the camera. The couple married in 2008 and are raising three children together: Honor (16), Haven (13) and Hayes (7).
