In that sense, he continued: “Our management has come advancing in all directions and with the numbers on the table, which has allowed us lay the foundations of a province that years ago was looked at askance by themselves and others, and that today is an example at a national and international level,” he celebrated.
The president assured that they are setting the course to advance in renewable energy, maintaining that “investments will continue to arrive” and added that the Aluar Wind Farm “will be the first of several.” “New tourism and gastronomic ventures will also be established, which grow the economy and generate direct and indirect jobs, which is what Argentina needs at this moment,” he emphasized.

Torres sets his sights on Europe to attract new investments
The Governor also met with representatives of the European Union, including Ambassador Amador Sánchez Rico, as well as the plenipotentiary ministers of Germany, China, United Arab Emirates, and Japantogether with which a joint work agenda was drawn up that includes coordination to promote the different industries that are developed in Chubut, with a strong focus on renewable energies from growing demand from international markets, mainly European.
In this regard, Torres expressed: “From the first day of government we proposed an agenda linked to the development of the province, with a focus on the installed capacity but also with a clear objective in the short, medium and long term: the arrival of new investments that enhance what is already there, and what allow Chubut to open the game to the demand of an international context that today needs our products and resources“.
