Anna and Gerald Heiser are fighting the future problems of their farm in Namibia. The solution? They open their doors to vacationers.
Anna (34) and Gerald Heiser (39) have been worried about the future of their farm in Namibia for some time. In November, they revealed that their farm is facing challenges – including a two-year drought and a failed crop. Daily life was a struggle, she reported at the time. Now the “Farmer Looking for a Wife” couple apparently wants to implement a new business idea: They rent out rooms on the farm to vacationers. Anne Heiser announced this.
There she shared a photo that shows her holding a goat in her arms, as well as several information slides about a possible stay on the farm. Among other things, the family offers a farm holiday, at a price of 140 euros per night per person, they provide accommodation and meals on the farm. The former “Bauer sucht Frau” candidate recommends various excursions, such as animal watching or a sundowner ride.
Anna Heiser raves about Namibia
“Namibia is a country full of unforgettable experiences: wild animals, breathtaking landscapes and pure nature!” enthuses Heiser, who has been living in the country in southern Africa for around five years. “Families with children are also very welcome, especially on our farm.” She also offers to help plan your vacation – even without staying on the farm.
The Kehoro Farm website states that after a renovation phase, “comfortable rooms with full catering will be available.” In addition to cattle breeding, charcoal production and corn and peanut cultivation, there are two equipped campsites for camping with showers, toilets and solar power.
Anna Heiser and her husband Gerald, whose family has owned the farm since 1978, met in 2017 at “Bauer sucht Frau International”. This was followed in 2018 by a wedding in Poland and another celebration in Namibia, where the couple now lives with their two children.
