Baby happiness after a long wait: After more than 35 hours of labor, Mischa Mayer’s wife Vanessa gave birth to their daughter.
Reality TV star Mischa Mayer (33) had to wait a long time for this moment: On Friday afternoon, the former “Love Island” and “Celebrity Big Brother” participant became a father for the first time. “She’s here. 4:53 p.m.,” the new dad announced.
The birth of his daughter was a real test of patience for his wife Vanessa. The couple went to the hospital the day before, but had to be sent home first. Mayer regularly provided his fans with all the necessary information via Insta stories: “During the examinations, no strong contractions were found and Vanessa’s cervix was only open a centimeter,” Mayer described the situation, among other things.
Almost two hours before the birth we went to the delivery room
What followed were more than 35 exhausting hours in which, according to the former “Love Island” star, his wife couldn’t sleep a wink. “Vanessa has been in labor for 35 hours and hasn’t slept since,” he reported from the clinic just a few hours before the birth. She copes well with everything and is “super brave”. At 2:08 p.m. the crucial phase began: we were finally allowed into the delivery room. “The cervix is at seven centimeters, it was a struggle,” Mayer wrote, adding: “We’re almost there.” The child was born almost two hours later.
This is the first child together for the 33-year-old and his Vanessa. The couple made their relationship public in October 2023. It was only last month that the two tied the knot. They announced the pregnancy at the beginning of September with a photo that showed both the baby bump and an ultrasound scan of the unborn child.
The couple has not yet revealed the name of their newborn daughter. A picture of the young mother and their child has not yet been published.
