There have been allegations of abuse against shock rocker Marilyn Manson for years. Several women spoke up. The police determined. But there is no indictment.
The controversial US shock rocker Marilyn Manson can avoid prosecution after allegations of sexual abuse and domestic violence. After a four -year “extensive” investigation of the allegations by the police and the public prosecutor’s office in Los Angeles, no charges would be charged, said district prosecutor Nathan Hochman. As a reason, it was said that the allegations were partly time -barred or that a guilt would be difficult to prove.
The police in Los Angeles had initiated an investigation in 2021 after several women had accusations against the musician, with a bourgeois name Brian Warner. According to a message from the sheriff office, the research over alleged abuse and attacks in a period between 2009 and 2011, when Manson lived in West Hollywood. The singer had immediately rejected the allegations.
Evan Rachel Wood accused Marilyn Manson of the “horrific” abuse
US actress Evan Rachel Wood and several other women had made accusations against Manson. In an Instagram posting, Wood (“Westworld”) accused her ex-boyfriend of “horrific” abuse in 2021. This started when she was a teenager. Manson manipulated and suppressed her. The relationship between the then 19-year-old Wood with the twice as old rocker became known in 2007. After several interruptions, the couple foke in 2010, but separated a little later.
The British actress Esmé Bianco (“Game of Thrones”) had submitted a civil lawsuit against Manson in Los Angeles in 2021. She accused the singer of assault, rape and other sexual abuse. She described incidents in a period from 2009 to 2011. This legal dispute was included in 2023.
Musically, it had become quiet around Manson in recent years, but last November the rock singer reported back with a new album. “One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1” was his first record in four years. With the new album, Manson will go on tour in Europe in February and appears in Berlin and Munich, among others.
