That says his ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood

The investigation against Marilyn Manson has taken four years, and there will be no indictment. Evan Rachel Wood had guessed it.
After four years of investigation, the Los Angeles public prosecutor announced last Friday that Marilyn Manson (56) does not have to answer in court. The accusations for sexual attacks could therefore not have been demonstrated without any doubt. Allegations of domestic violence were also outside the limitation period, the reasoning says. Manson’s ex-fiscient Evan Rachel Wood (37), who is one of the women who accuse the shock rocker sexual violence and abuse, has now commented on this decision.
“We always knew that the limitation period would be an obstacle, which is why we created the Phoenix Act so that other victims do not have to experience this result”. In 2019, Wood contributed to the so -called Phoenix Act in California, which extended the limitation period from domestic violence from three to five years. “Unfortunately, the Phoenix Act cannot help in cases that occurred before its adoption, but I hope that this will throw a light on why it is so important to work for better laws.”
The investigation focused on alleged incidents between 2009 and 2011 in West Hollywood, where Manson lived at the time. In addition to Wood and other women, “Game of Thrones” actress Esmé Bianco (42) had also commented on this and accused.
Legal happiness for Manson?
In her current statement, Wood also indicates that it might have looked different for Manson without the expired limitation period: “My lawyer and I was informed by the deputy district prosecutors and the Sheriff deputy, who examined the case that there is compelling evidence of Underpinning our claims give, but the limitation period prevents the criminal prosecution of many of these crimes. “
The public prosecutor previously emphasized that it continued to campaign to obtain justice for survivors of abuse whenever this was legally possible. Those affected were encouraged to contact the law enforcement authorities as soon as possible after incidents.
So far, Manson has had all the allegations rejected. He only retreated a counter -complaint about defamation at the end of November 2024. At the time, he had to pay around 300,000 euros at Wood.
