Sam Dylan’s Jungle Trial: Lots of screaming, zero stars

Sam Dylan often brims with self-confidence. But two lizards, 25 scorpions, a dozen pythons and a few rats made him sheepish. After all, the cockroaches were his limit.
Reality star Sam Dylan screamed his way through his jungle test but came away empty-handed in the end. “The goal is: twelve stars,” he confidently set out to test his courage in an Australian cave system. But the many animals that welcomed him into the holes underground left the 33-year-old in the second episode of the RTL show “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” quickly become very quiet.
Two lizards, 25 scorpions, a dozen pythons and a batch of rats – Dylan’s screeching became more and more violent. “A rat licked me,” shouted the jungle camper. When rubble and a large number of cockroaches fell on the reality actor, he stopped the test: I can’t do it anymore, I have to get out. I can’t breathe.” The four stars collected up to that point were lost. The result: zero.
Three tests – no star
It was the third test in which Dylan didn’t get a star. He also couldn’t bring himself to do a bungee jump to a depth of 50 meters the day before. And during a disgusting food tasting, the candidate spat out the bull’s lip that was served to him.
After his defeat in the cave, the man in his mid-thirties eventually found his language again and appealed for understanding: “I couldn’t take it anymore. You don’t just quit for fun.” After his return, he said to his fellow campers: “For me it was the worst test that could have happened.”
Lilly Becker (48), model and ex-wife of tennis legend Boris Becker, reacted disappointed and irritated: “He had four stars.” Then don’t break off. The campers are faced with a meager rice meal – perhaps not the last. Because the audience promptly voted Dylan back into the next test.
In the new season on RTL and RTL+, all 17 live shows run at prime time at 8:15 p.m. According to AGF Videoforschung, the first episode reached 4.0 million viewers (18.9 percent market share). The finale of “IBES” is scheduled for February 9th.
