Hugh Jackman (56) started his concert series in the Radio City Music Hall on Friday evening with a surprise appearance by Ryan Reynolds (48).
Reynolds, who was seen with Jackman in the “Deadpool & Wolverine” box office hit in 2024, grabbed the microphone during Jackman’s “Ask Me Anyding” part of the concert and fired a funny focal speech on his colleague.
“The best person I know”
In it he praised Jackman’s friendliness and courtesy with her first film and his dealings with the people on the set. He called the actor “the best person I know”. He was the first big film star with whom he had worked at “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” 16 or 17 years ago. “What I saw was pretty much the best thing you can experience when you work up in the industry. I saw a film star,” enthused Reynolds from Jackman. And joked: “Yes, he was a film star. And now sing the whole thing and so on.”
Jackman is on stage on the Radio City Music Hall in New York on twelve evenings and, among other things, is the best of his dance skills and classics of his musical “The Greatest Showman”, accompanied by background singers, dancers and a live band.
Reynolds already supported him at the announcement of this project. Jackman reports to his colleague in detail about his plans, whereupon Reynolds jokingly asks whether he is also planned.
