The eternal test: Is Sam Dylan now threatened with a jungle curse?
This season RTL made an excellent choice as to who should go into the jungle. Blood, urine and brains have already been bravely choked down.
Screaming, tears, blood and cockroaches: The RTL jungle camp has made a promising start to the new season. After just two days, the usual roles seem to be neatly distributed.
Sam Dylan (33, original sound: “You know me from every reality show.”) is currently becoming the attractive figure who can expect a particularly large number of orders for the jungle test from the TV audience. Entertainer’s daughter Alessia Herren (23) is the camp chick who needs to be protected – even from herself. Ex-tennis player’s wife Lilly Becker (48) shows herself as a camp mom. Crime star Pierre Sanoussi-Bliss (62) is a class clown. Singer Anna-Carina Woitschack (32) and sports commentator Jörg Dahlmann (66) want to use the opportunity to publicly correct something. And Jürgen Hingsen (67) is the veteran who was imagined to be funnier.
Two lizards, 25 scorpions, a dozen pythons
Dylan will face tough times until February 9th. The reality star screamed his way through his test in a cave but came away empty-handed in the end. Two lizards, 25 scorpions, a dozen pythons, a batch of rats and a large number of cockroaches were too many, he stopped the test: “I can’t take it anymore, I have to get out. I can’t breathe.” The four stars collected up to that point were lost. The balance: zero.
It was the third test in which Dylan didn’t get a star. He also couldn’t bring himself to do a bungee jump to a depth of 50 meters the day before. And he spat out a bull’s lip that was served to him. Despite losing three, the audience promptly voted Dylan into the next test.
Yeliz Koç (“Make Love, Fake Love”) told a sad family story: “I hate my birthday.” Her parents separated when she was three. “On my birthday, I always looked at my cell phone all day and waited for my father to call, which never came. That’s why I never celebrate my birthday,” said the 31-year-old. Pop star Anna-Carina Woitschack reported on her separation from Stefan Mross and how much it hurt her when people didn’t think this marriage was real.
Nina Bott (47, “GZSZ”) had even harder food for the audience. Both of her parents were alcoholics. “My mom drank secretly.” As a child, she had to look after her mother more than the other way around, she said, visibly fighting back tears. Musician Edith Stehfest (30) also had some moving stories to report that had to do with drug problems.
Alessia: I would like to stock supermarket shelves
Alessia Herren, on the other hand, shed tears during the tests of courage, but also proved to be a Rhenish cheerful person. After the jungle camp, she really wants to start working for a large German discount store. She can easily imagine stocking shelves and sitting at the checkout. “I just want to have a job that gives me a monthly income.” However, others contributed to the nutrition of the jungle camp: Dahlmann, Stehfest and Timur Ülker (“GZSZ”) choked down cow blood, cow urine and sheep brains. The reward was more food for the camp.
In the new season on RTL and RTL+, all 17 live shows run at prime time at 8:15 p.m. According to AGF Videoforschung, the first episode reached 4.0 million viewers (18.9 percent market share). The finale of “IBES” is scheduled for February 9th. Let’s see who among the twelve campers takes the jungle crown.
