Miriam Höller fell in love again several years after a difficult loss. So she fought back into life.
In September 2016, Miriam Höller (37) suddenly lost her partner, the art flight pilot Hannes Arch, who died in a helicopter crash. A little more than eight years later, the former stunt woman and moderator has now made her new relationship public: she is in a relationship with star chef Roland Trettl (53). That she fell in love again shows “how uncontrollable life is,” said the 37-year-old the “Bild am Sonntag”. Because it took some time before Miriam Höller could process the difficult loss.
“I denied the reality of death. Because I thought I could control everything in life,” quotes the newspaper from Höller’s book “Life is unfair – and that’s a good thing”. After the death of her partner, she hadn’t eaten or drunk for several days and “given up me and my life” even had suicidal thoughts. That changed it – also for the positive: “I never thought that I could crash emotionally. But today I am glad that I was there. I perceive life very differently.”

Miriam Höller also describes according to “Bild am Sonntag” that she was looking for professional help and fought back step by step back into life. “It took a long time before I got back to reality. To be able to accept it even longer. And even longer until I learned to love them,” it says.
Höller “surprised” new relationship
After a few years as a single, Miriam Höller is now happily awarded again. This was confirmed by the former “Germany’s Next Top Model” participant and her partner, “First Dates” moderator Roland Trettl, on January 25th with Instagram posts. “Life, you always surprise me,” Höller wrote. According to the “Bams”, the two have known each other for 14 years, Trettl is said to have been a friend of their late partner Hannes Arch.
