Princess Kate: Anna Wintour wants her on the cover of “Vogue”.

Anna Wintour (75) wants to see Princess Kate (43) on the cover of “Vogue”. The editor-in-chief of the fashion magazine is said to have even given the Brit some promises that not all cover stars get.

As reported, Kate should be allowed to choose both her outfit and the photographer for her cover. Kate can also decide for herself whether she wants to give an interview or not. Even in which countries it appears on the cover is up to them, with Great Britain and the USA being “a given,” as they say. Wintour is said to have personally delivered the offer to the princess through an intermediary.

If Princess Kate agrees, it wouldn’t be the first time she’s appeared on the cover of Vogue. In June 2016 she graced the British edition of the magazine’s 100th anniversary. A source is quoted by the newspaper as saying: “The Princess has come a long way since that first cover. She is a global fashion icon, but she is so much more.”

Her courageous fight against cancer and raising her three young children in the public eye would make her a role model for millions of people, they say. And further: “Her story would be an inspiration to so many women who are going through the same things as her.”

Shortly after Prince William’s (42) father, King Charles III. (76), who made a cancer diagnosis public, also told Kate last year that she had cancer. In September, she reported completing her chemotherapy. : “Like anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis, adjusting to a new normal takes time. However, I look forward to a fulfilling year. There is much to look forward to.”
