Chrissy Teigen (39) shared sad news: the family dog ​​Penny has died. The wife of musician John Legend (46) revealed this on Saturday. The French Bulldog died peacefully in his sleep at the age of eleven.

“Born on the same day John and I got married 11 years ago, she was there for us – for every baby, every loss, every joy,” wrote Teigen in a series of photos of the dog. “She loved nothing more than being loved, having her belly rubbed and destroying every ball she could get, even until her final weeks.”

“Oh Penny. We were so lucky to have you,” the model continues, sharing a thought that seems to comfort her: “Say hello to Puddy and Pippa. You’re all together again.” Teigen and Legend had lost 2018, also a bulldog, three years later.

In her Instagram story, Teigen also shared a photo that shows her and husband John Legend and their children Luna (8) and Miles (6) on a sofa hugging Penny.

The musician and the model have been a couple since 2008 and married in Italy in September 2013. Her daughter was born in 2016 and her son in 2018. In 2020, Teigen made it public that she had given birth to her third child as a stillbirth. In 2023, Teigen gave birth to another daughter, and in the same year the couple also became parents to a son through surrogacy.
