“Sam, Sam – but different” – day three in the jungle

Spider panic, hunger and then the toilet paper runs out. The mood in the RTL jungle camp could be significantly better – and there is no improvement in sight.
There’s moaning, complaining, screaming – and it’s only the third day. It’s slowly becoming clear that this year’s residents of the RTL jungle camp are not particularly capable of suffering. Every spider in a corner triggers a moderate panic attack in at least one camper, digestion becomes difficult overall – and then the toilet paper runs out.
“Is the toilet in the back safe?”
“Is the toilet in the back safe? Sure, brother?” Candidate Maurice Dziwak (26) asks the actor Timur Ülker (35), with whom he shares “simply the same fucking rhythm” after three days together – and not only that. The GZSZ -Star notices significantly more of Maurice’s session in the jungle toilet than he and the audience would like: “Please, just hit it,” he says. And: “I’ll never get rid of that picture.” And then the toilet paper runs out.
As much time as RTL devotes to going to the toilet in the episode on Sunday evening, which was shortened due to an NFL broadcast, the real heart of each episode, the jungle test, is over so quickly. Reality star Sam Dylan (33) also failed quite badly in his second individual test.
And then the dreaded sentence comes
Locked in a kind of glass coffin filled with millet, he has to endure five minutes of mealworms, grasshoppers and other creepy crawlies coming very, very close to his face. This is too much for him and the sentence “I’m a star – get me out of here!”, which is dreaded by his fellow campers, is too much for him. falls.
Becker’s ex Lilly (48) has so little fighting spirit: “It’s annoying, it’s annoying, it’s just annoying,” she says. “I don’t think he gave it his all today.” And in doing so, she sows doubt, skepticism and discord among her fellow campers. “I believed in him, but why always zero stars,” asks Maurice.
“The viewers want to see us suffer”
“Sam, Sam – but different,” says moderator Jan Köppen, based on the English expression “same, same – but different”, which means “same and yet different”. This is exactly what Sam could actually be threatened with: the daily jungle test. He is also chosen for episode four by the viewers, who traditionally punish exam failure and screaming mercilessly, albeit this time together with Alessia Herren (23).
Actor Pierre Sanoussi-Bliss (62), who years later still hasn’t gotten over his exit from the ZDF crime series “Der Alte”, sums up the principle of the show: “The viewers want to see us suffer.”
