Willi Gabalier has become a father for the first time. His wife Christiana gave birth to a boy.
It was only in November that the Austrian dancer, presenter and musician Willi Gabalier (43) revealed that his wife Christiana was pregnant. Now the child is born – and the new dad announced this almost casually on social media.
“The boy is already watching too”
In his Instagram story, he first drew attention to the recent broadcast of his show “Bares für Rares” on Sunday evening and showed himself watching it a little later. The older brother of singer Andreas Gabalier (40) swung through a hospital room onto a baby bed. “The boy is already watching,” joked the moderator, revealing not only the birth but also the fact that he can look forward to a son. Wife Christiana seems to be doing well and she can also be seen briefly in the clip – smiling and lying in bed. However, Willi Gabalier did not reveal what the boy’s name was or when exactly he was born.
“Hurray, we’re getting a Buzal and we’re really happy,” he announced in mid-November 2024. In the selfie, he and his pregnant wife beamed proudly into the camera.
In an interview with “Kurier”, Gabalier also revealed that his child should see the light of day in February. Now the boy obviously set off a little earlier than expected.
In 2025 they will celebrate their rose wedding
Like his older brother, Willi Gabalier has been in the spotlight for years. Among other things, he was a professional dancer on the Austrian show “Dancing Stars” and in 2014 on the German counterpart “Let’s Dance”. As a presenter, he leads through the Austrian branch of Horst Lichter’s (63) junk show “Bares für Rares”.
His wife Christiana was his dance partner from 2010. In 2011 they achieved fifth place together at the WDC Austrian Professional Championship in Bad Ischl. The wedding followed in 2015, so this year they can not only celebrate the addition of the family, but also their rose wedding.
