Snoop Dogg (53) reacted to the massive criticism after his appearance at Donald Trumps (78) inauguration. the rapper turned directly to his disappointed fans: “I will answer all the hatred with love,” said the musician while he is sitting in his car and listening to music. “Take care of your own life and don’t worry about mine. I’m fine. I am at peace with myself. I’m still a black man. Still 100 percent black.”
Appearance causes horror
The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” interpret had performed on January 17th at the so-called Crypto Ball in Washington, DC. In addition to him, other artists such as Rick Ross and Soulja Boy also performed. The reactions of his fans were not long in coming – many were shocked by Snoop Dogg’s decision to act again when the controversial politician was recording again.
“You are always confronted with hatred when you make it to the top, no matter who you are”. “I personally answer with success and love. This is my answer to all hatred and any negativity that strikes me, because that is the strongest force that can defeat it.”
Former Trump critic
For many fans, Snoop Dogg’s appearance is particularly surprising because he had always critically commented on Donald Trump in the past. In 2018 he had sharply attacked Trump supporters and referred to them as “racists”. He also criticized the former rapper Kanye West (47) for his Trump support: “Kanye. Don’t forget him. Throw him into the bag because he is with them under a blanket.”
