Stefan-Raab-Show soon on free TV-first guest Robert Habeck

Fun maker Stefan Raab will in future be shown on RTL on Wednesdays without Paywall. Robert Habeck and Barbara Schöneberger are his first guests – not good news for the competition “TV Total”.

Fans of Stefan Raab can soon see the entertainer on RTL every week without completing a streaming subscription. His show “You don’t win the million” will run on Free TV every Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. from February 12th. His first guests without Paywall are said to be Greens Chancellor candidate Robert Habeck and moderator Barbara Schöneberger, as RTL said.

Raab (58) started the format “You don’t win the million” in September last year with a large tailwind at the RTL+ streaming service. The first show in the series had reached 790,000 people at the time. In the second week, 430,000 fans were attracted. In the weeks later, the streaming program brand gradually lost.

By taking over the free TV, the audience is likely to grow enormously – Raab will become even more present as a figurehead of RTL. The new episodes will then be set in advance on RTL+ before they run in the linear transmitter. With the broadcast on RTL, the entertainer and producer Raab goes to direct confrontation with the ProSieben comedyshow “TV Total”, which runs at the same time and was once his own invention. For a long time he had moderated “TV Total” before going to the diving station for years.

“Stefan Raab for everyone-for free!” Wared the program manager of RTL Germany, Inga Leschek: “With” You don’t win the million “we were able to celebrate the most successful streaming-only start ever last year and open up new target groups for RTL+ Now we ignite the next stage of our plan and make the show accessible to an even wider audience. “

At the show, Raab looks back on events in streaming, social media and TV, quizzed with the candidates and competes against them in duels and games. Only those who answer all questions correctly and prevail in the competitions against the host has the chance of one million euros.
