Star-occupied Chanel show in Paris: Dua Lipa inspires with all-black look

The Haute Couture Week is currently taking place in Paris. The singer and Fashionista Dua Lipa (29) did not miss it: she was sitting in the front row at the Chanel Fashion Show in the Grand Palais. For the prestigious fashion event, the musician wore a completely black look with XXL cape and loop elements.

The pop star appeared at the event on January 28th in a classic Chanel-Tweed two-piece from black skirt and buttoned jacket. However, the highlight of the look was the dramatic black cape, which was held with a loop around Dua Lipa’s shoulders. To do this, she combined a large black loop around her braid and several Chanel chains around her hips.

She then divided photos of it. Striking here: In almost all photos she covered her left hand under the cape. Dua Lipas Ringfinger with a large clunker only flashed on a snapshot. The piece of jewelry first appeared in her photos on December 24th and quickly sparked violent engagement rumors. An insider confirmed to “The Sun” that she is said to have engaged to her boyfriend, the actor Callum Turner (34). The two have been lined up since the beginning of 2024.

Turner did not visit the Chanel show, but several other events in the French capital, including a show by Louis Vuitton. Pictures that are present show the pair of hand in hand while walking in the city of love and fell in love with lunch in a restaurant. Her suspected engagement ring was easy to see here.

Dua Lipa was by no means the only one who attended the show. In addition to her, Chanel-Muse Charlotte Casiraghi (38) and her half-sister Princess Alexandra of Hannover (25) also took place in the First Row. Common photos of the children of Monaco’s Princess Caroline von Hannover (68) are in vain. Vanessa Paradis (52) and her daughter Lily-Rose Depp (25) were also present, as did Pamela Anderson (57) or Kylie Jenner (27).

With the spring/summer collection 2025, the Maison Chanel celebrates impressive 110 years of Savoir-Fair-and also the first show since Matthieu Blazy (40) was appointed the new creative director. Its fashionable orientation combines classic Chanel looks-including those such as the tweed costume and cape of Dua Lipa-with aestheticisms from the 80s as well as modern colors and fabrics.

The haute couture week takes place in Paris until January 30th.
