Ex-teen fighter Jürgen Hingsen: He marries after the jungle camp

She is his “soul mate” and “great love” – ​​now the former decathlon star Jürgen Hingsen (67) finally wants to marry his partner Francesca Elstermeier. The athlete, currently in the Australian jungle camp, revealed this before moving into an interview with the magazine “Bunte”.

“Yes, of course we want to get married, but so far it has never been the right time,” explains Hingsen. After his return from Australia, it should now be so far in the “small, narrow circle in a beautiful surroundings”. The former world record holder and the cosmetic expert have been a couple since 2005.

The connection between the two is very special, as both emphasize in conversation. “Francesca is my resting pole, my pillar, my consultant,” enthuses the former athlete. His partner adds: “We have been together since 2005 and have had to stand some fights. It is of course clear that our children were not so built at the beginning when we got to know each other.”

The couple does not hide the fact that there are also discrepancies. However, there are no loud arguments. Instead of scolding around, they withdraw. If she did not speak to him for two days, he wasn’t right. “He has an uncanny need for harmony,” reveals Elstermeier.

When they kissed for the first time almost 20 years ago, “this went through all the departments of my brain and body,” says horses. His partner also remembers “this tingling”, which is immediately there when they got to know each other. And even today she says: “He is the greatest for me, my hero.”

After the TV format, the next big step should now follow. “We are mentally prepared,” emphasizes the ex-performance athlete. The wedding on a small scale seems to be only a matter of time. In any case, Francesca Elstermeier already has a clear idea: “A wedding does not have to be big – the main thing is that it comes from the heart.” They have long since been married, he also calls them “my wife” everywhere.
