With his ironic, politically significant and poetic works, the artist Banksy touches the viewer and speaks to many people’s souls – this is also shown by the current exhibition “The Mystery of Banksy” in the Linz tobacco factory, which can be seen until March 20th.
The OÖ Nachrichten present the show and are now looking for readers who can be inspired by Banksy and interpret their thoughts on social and global political issues in Banksy’s way. The implementation can take the form of a photomontage, a painting or a drawing.
The artist always realizes his messages subtly without being aggressive. Pupils or school classes can also take part in the campaign as part of their art lessons. First prize is a framed reproduction of Banksy, second prize is a fan pack from the exhibition’s Banksy shop, and third prize is admission to the show for four people.
