After Henry’s catwalk debut: Do all children in Heidi Klums footsteps?

Heidi Klum (51) is a proud model mom-and not only in her prosieben show “Germany’s Next Top Model”. Because two of her four children already followed her career and appeared in the fashion industry. The two youngest children Johan (18) and Lou (15) could take other ways.

Because her oldest daughter Leni Klum (20), who comes from a relationship with the Italian sports manager Flavio Briatore (74), absolutely wanted to become a model, she was allowed to take her first steps in the industry at the age of 16. At the side of Mama Heidi, Leni stood for the first for the cover of the German “Vogue” in front of the camera – the starting signal for her own model career. This was quickly followed by solo titles for the “Hunger Magazine” and the “Glamor”, in August 2021 they stepped in Venice for Dolce & Gabbana over the catwalk. She has also been in use at “Germany’s Next Top Model” since 2022.

In 2005 Heidi Klum married the singer Seal (61) and got three other children with him. The oldest, Henry Samuel (19), surprised on January 28, 2025 with his appearance at Lena Erna’s haute couture show during the Fashion Week in Paris. He was allowed to show two different black suits – much to the delight of his famous mother and sister, both of whom immediately divided a clip of his walk into their Instagram stories. She was “so proud” on her son, Heidi Klum knew about it. Henry, who visits college after his high school graduation, said in an interview with “Vogue” that he has many interests and has not necessarily dreamed of a career as a model. In the future, however, he hoped for “more options for modeling”.

All four siblings had their first joint public appearance in January 2024 when they accompanied Seal to the film premiere of “The Book of Clarence” in Los Angeles. At that time, Johan (18), who was casually dressed in black hoodie and black trousers, noticed with his curly head and his considerable body size. He almost reached his 1.90 meter brother Henry. The prerequisites for a model career would also be given. But maybe he also lets himself be heard.

For his 18th birthday in November, Heidi Klum encouraged him to be a glorious future in an Instagram post: “The world is part of you! Get it to you.” To do this, she published a video that Johan shows as a toddler when singing happily. The fact that the young man is artistically talented revealed his mother on her Instagram page in 2019. At that time she posted a landscape that her son had painted at the age of twelve. In the future, Johan may start more as a painter than as a model.

The youngest in the group, Lou Sulola (15), has so far rarely been seen in public like Johan. After the appearance with her siblings and her father at the film premiere in early 2024, she appeared for the first time with a face in March 2024 in an Instagram story of her mother. At that time, Heidi Klum showed two pictures of a joint visit to a Madonna concert.

Lou seems to have inherited her father Seal’s musical talent. She is said to be a passionate dancer. At the age of eleven, she had remarkable dance steps on how her mother proudly stated in a video. In 2021, Klum expressed in an interview with “Gala” that Lou has completely different interests than Leni. “She is an A-class student, has something everywhere. She loves anime, looks at everything in Japanese.” As a small child, she was rather quiet and listened to her siblings a lot. The career aspiration was still completely open at the age of twelve: Lou could not decide whether “she would like to become a pop star, veterinarian or president,” said Heidi Klum.
