Manfred Fell hardly trusted his eyes when his son showed him the Instagram post of the US superstar. His small company suddenly became famous.
U.S. singer Sza has helped a garden builder from Heinsberg to unexpectedly fame with an Instagram post. In the photo she wears a jersey with the inscription “Zaun-Garten- u. Landscaping Manfred Fell Heinsberg”. The R&B singer, who is to appear on the Super Bowl half-time show on February 9, has 22 million followers.
“I have no idea how the jersey came to the USA and the artist,” said Manfred Fell of the German Press Agency. He had the green shirts made as operating jerseys in the early 1990s, for example for football tournaments in the area.
“Maybe she has a soft spot for gardens”
After his son received the first news about the photo on Tuesday, Fell rummaged in the attic. In a box, he actually found some copies of the jersey. Sza probably cut off the sleeves from the long -sleeved shirt and cut it on belly -free.
The 60-year-old can only guess why Sza is wearing this shirt. He doesn’t know the singer and has now heard a song from her for the first time. “Maybe she has a soft spot for gardens,” he says. She may have got the jersey through a retro shop.
Maybe she also wears the jersey at the Super Bowl …
In any case, Fell is happy about the unexpected fame for his small company with the eight employees. “Besides, this is also advertising for our entire profession.”
Although he is actually not a big football fan, he will definitely take a look at the Super Bowl, Fell said. “If she puts on the jersey again when she appeared there – that would of course be the crowning glory.” Several media have already reported on the case.
