The front man of Rolling Stones reacts to the death of his former Muse Marianne Faithfull. And posts old pictures.
Rock legend Mick Jagger (81) recognizes his former partner Marianne Faithfull. He was so sad to find out about her death, the singer of the Rolling Stones said on social media. “She was part of my life for so long. She was a wonderful friend, a beautiful singer and a great actress.”
The singer and sixties icon Faithfull died in London at the age of 78, as reported by the British news agency PA. It will always be remembered, it said in Jagger’s message. Several photos were posted.
Jagger’s bandmate also recalled Faithfull. “I’m so sad and will miss her,” said Keith Richard’s Instagram profile (81). Richards and Jagger wrote the song “As Tears Go by”, which Faithfull had announced in the 1960s.
The Rolling Stones published an old video on social media in which Jagger sang the song. Band colleague Ronnie Wood (77) posted on his Instagram profile: “Marianne will be painfully missing.”
