Bibi Blocksberg is 45 years old
Eene Meene Me, fly, mashed potatoes! Hex hex! The small Hexe Bibi Blocksberg has been playing numerous adventures for over four decades – a new one is now appearing for the anniversary.
The popular children’s figure Bibi Blocksberg is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. Since 1980, Bibi, from the Austrian author Elfie Donnelly, has inspired generations of children in radio play consequences, cartoon series, cinema films and books, as the radio play label Kiddinx announced. Always loyal to Bibi’s side: your broom potato porridge.
The first radio play sequence “Hexen is available” was released on August 4, 1980 on cassette. In the meantime there are the consequences on CD and online, but they will continue to be published on cassette to this day. In the meantime, according to Kiddinx, the radio plays about the small witch have been streamed more than a billion times. Since episode one, voice spokeswoman Susanna Bonaséwicz Bibi has been lending her voice. It was only represented in three episodes.
In the anniversary year, twelve special radio play consequences are published, and the first appeared “Malicia’s revenge”. In December, Bibi Blocksberg will fly with potato porridge in a new film about the cinema screens.
