In mid -December, satirist Sebastian Hotz leaves many questions with a contribution to lies in relationships. Now “El Hotzo” speaks back and draws consequences.
The comedy author and satirist Sebastian Hotz alias “El Hotzo” temporarily gives off his social media channels in relationships. The time is sensible and helpful for him, wrote “El Hotzo” in an Instagram post.
“In the run-up to the Bundestag election,” said the 29-year-old, he wanted to hand over his accounts to organizations that did important political work.
The auxiliary and human rights organization Medico International supports its accounts on Instagram and X. According to its own statements, the initiative takes over from February 3 to March 23. The association temporarily played its profile on the Bluesky platform, the association Sanction-free to support social welfare recipients.
Hotz: Work on me and my behavioral patterns
The background is a statement by Hotz that he had published at X in mid -December. There he commented on private misconduct in relationships and wrote: “I have been repeatedly unfaithful in relationships in recent years and then covered up my deeds in increasingly complicated lies constructs and discredited the credibility of my (ex) partners.”
After that it had become quiet around the comedian. The post had triggered many reactions online. “Since then I have been working on myself and my behavioral patterns with professional help,” Hotz wrote on Instagram. This is a long way. “But I hope to have taken the first steps in the right direction.”
