Sebastian “El Hotzo” Hotz reports back after apology

In recent years, satirist Sebastian “El Hotzo” Hotz made a name and jokes a name on his platforms online. In mid -December last year, however, a not so funny side appeared to Hotz. “I have been repeatedly unfaithful in relationships in recent years and then covered up my actions in increasingly complicated lies constructs and discredited the credibility of my (ex) partners,” wrote Hotz a little more than a month ago.

He had “loved ones, gave, manipulated and spoke of exclusivity, held women and hidden relationships so as not to be easy”.

He apologized and promised improvement. Now the comedian has again spoken out on social media. He currently works “with professional help” on his behavioral patterns, he says in his statement. It was a long way, “but I hope to have taken the first steps in the right direction,” said Hotz.

To be offline is “sensible and helpful”. And yet the media man wants to use his reach in the run -up to the Bundestag election. He therefore hand over his channels temporarily “to organizations that do important political work”. His X and Instagram account will be managed by the Medico International Auxiliary and Human Rights Organization in the coming weeks. The Sanction-free bluesky account, which campaigns for people, are taking over the citizens’ allowance.

In December, Hotz made it clear that he explained his power as a well -known person in the media. “I publicly represent completely different values, while I acted so completely in private,” he wrote. In addition: “I took advantage of my position and my image as a reflected media man and I very hurt many people.”
