End of Tom Brady’s career: wife Gisele is “really happy”

Tom Brady ends his career – Gisele Bundchen is very happy about it. Now the two can open the “next chapter”.

Gisele Bundchen (41) is happy to spend more time with her husband. After Tom Brady (44) retired from the NFL, the 41-year-old allegedly waited for her husband to hang up his jersey.

Gisele has been hoping for some time to retire from football, “especially after winning the Super Bowl with the Bucs,” the insider said, according to People. “She’s really happy because she would worry about him. She hates when he gets hit.”

The next chapter

The father of three is now “ready for the next chapter” with his family, the source said. “Every year he weighed his options, but this year it felt different.” Brady and Bundchen have been married since 2009 and have daughter Vivian Lake, 9, and son Benjamin, 12. His son John “Jack” Edward (14) comes from a previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan (50).

When he announced his retirement from active sport, Brady had special words for his family. Among other things, he explained on Instagram: “I have loved my NFL career, but now it is time to devote my time and energy to other things that require my attention.” He also wrote to his wife and children: “You are my inspiration.”

The multiple record holder described his family as his “greatest achievement”. His wife gave everything so that he could focus on his career. Her selflessness has enabled him to reach unimagined heights professionally. He couldn’t find the words to express how much his wife meant to him and to all of them.

“Excited about the future”

Tom Brady is considered the most successful American football player in the history of the sport. He secured six of his seven Super Bowl victories with the New England Patriots. He triumphed again in 2021 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After announcing his retirement, Bundchen celebrated. “So many memories! I knew nothing about football when I met you over 15 years ago. But cheering you on and seeing you do what you love most is what made me learn so much about this wonderful game that I honestly thought I knew more than the referees!”

She also called her husband “the most committed, focused and mentally strong person I have ever met”. Over the years he has never “complained about all the bruises and pain”. She is now “just as excited about the future” as her husband. And she said: “Words cannot really express how grateful I am to everyone who has been so supportive of my husband and our family over so many years.”
