New single “From London to New York”: Vanessa Mai about her favorite travel companion

Vanessa Mai (32) starts with another single. After her Christmas song “Schneemann”, the singer is now “from London to New York”. The singer has a special reference to one of the two metropolises, as she tells in an interview with the news agency Spot on News.

“I just fell in love with the city of New York,” says the musician. “My husband and I have been there three times now and I can’t get enough.” London, on the other hand, is “a new location that I would like to do”.

In the Big Apple, the singer was even at various times a year: “To be in New York during the Christmas season was always my childhood dream, which was fulfilled in 2022.” After that, she said to her husband Andreas Ferber (41) “that I want to experience NYC in the summer and Zack, we had two productions there. It was just a great time. The result will be seen everywhere”. Could the singer also imagine living there? “NYC already has something,” she explains. “But I’m very close to home. If so, then commute.”

Just say a word and I stay ‘, you are my one everywhere.” Appropriately, the 32-year-old reveals that she prefers to travel with her husband. “We always think the same thing, are synchronized, which is always the most casual vacation.” So that you can enjoy a vacation with another travel companion, “you should be on a wavelength, otherwise you will get on your nerves”.

When it comes to destination and city trip, beach vacation or hiking holidays are available, Mai has a clear answer: “Beach, beach, beach, briefly city. I love the warmth and the sea so much.” In winter they also love snow and mountains. So far, however, she has not made any vacation plans for 2025: “Let’s see where it leads us this year.” Vanessa Mais resolution: “I try to be positive, then positive things come back. I am grateful and live in now. I didn’t really plan and got so much in 2024.”
