The little girl was born in Northern California at the beginning of the week. Father is Collins’ husband Charlie McDowell (41), with whom Lily Collins has been married since 2021. The two had met in 2019 on the set of the film “Gilded Rage”. The couple comes from prominent families: While Lily Collins is the daughter of Genesis front man Phil Collins (74), McDowell’s parents are the Golden-Globe winner Malcolm McDowell (81) and Mary Steenburgen (71). His stepfather is sitcom legend Ted Danson (77).
As “TMZ” continues, Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson were spotted shortly after birth during a hospital visit. According to the magazine, the freshly baked parents are “overjoyed” about the arrival of their first child.
The birth comes as a surprise to many because the couple had kept the surrogate mother’s pregnancy secret. In October, Charlie McDowell had only indicated that they wanted to start a family – without mentioning that a baby was already on the road.
