Even before the big TV gala, the Grammy’s prices were awarded in secondary categories. The winners include some superstars, a German film composer-and the deceased US President.
Shooting star Sabrina Carpenter, film composer Hans Zimmer and US President Jimmy Carter, who died at the end of December, are among the first Grammy winners of the year. Carpenter received the music award for “Espresso” as the best pop solo performance and for the best remix recording.
Hans Zimmer received a Grammy for the best music for visual media such as films and TV series for his work on the second part of the “Dune” blockbuster. Jimmy Carter received the Grammy for the best audio book of the year. The ex-president, who died at the end of December, had spoken his Bible lesson “Last Sundays in Plains” himself. The American roots artist Sierra Ferrell was awarded four Grammys directly.
The coveted music prices will be awarded in more than 90 categories on Monday (from 2 a.m. CET). The US musician Beyoncé went to this year’s Grammy Awards with eleven nominations as a favorite. The Grammys are among the most coveted music prices in the world. You will be awarded for the 67th time this year. Around 13,000 members of the Recording Academy decide on the winners.
