After eleven seasons, the end is: Popular casting show soon without Heidi Klum
For years, Heidi Klum judged “America’s Got Talent” as a juror – but the model is missing at the next season. Instead, an old acquaintance comes back.
Model mom Heidi Klum, 51, has been sitting on the US casting show “America’s Got Talent” since 2013. But after eleven seasons, the next should take place without the German model. The broadcaster NBC now announced the line -up for the 20th season, which will start at the end of May. The British ex-spice girl Mel B, 49, returns as a juror. Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara are again on board together with host Terry Crews.
From 2013 to 2018, Mel B belonged to the jury alongside Klum. Both had got out of season 13, but Klum belonged to the team again from season 15. In the show of the US broadcaster NBC to compare with the German version “Das Supertalent”, the jurors submit their judgment on the talents of the applicants.
In January it became known that Klum would return as the host of the US casting show “Project Runway”. The US broadcaster Freeform announced this without naming a specific date. The 21st season is scheduled to go on the air this year.
Heidi Klum also host on other shows
In September 2018 after 16 seasons as a moderator at “Project Runway”, Klum got out together with fashion consultant Tim Gunn. The duo then published the common reality fashion show “Making the Cut” at the streaming service Amazon Prime Video, which ran until 2022. The creations of young designers were evaluated in it.
The designer casting series “Project Runway” is also about young fashion designers who have to convince a jury with their outfits. After the exit from Klum and Gunn, the US model Karlie Kloss and US designer Christian Siriano stepped in as hosts.
In Germany, Klum has successfully successful with her casting show “Germany’s Next Top Model” (GNTM).
