Again and again online fraudsters get in touch with fake profiles of stars. After “scary emails” to her sister, Sandra Bullock now has a message to her fans.

Oscar winner Sandra Bullock warns her fans of fake accounts on social media. “Please note that I do not take part in social media in any form,” says a statement by the 60-year-old, which published the US magazine “People”.

“All accounts that pretend to be or someone who is connected to me are fake accounts and have been created for the financial advantage or the exploitation of people in my environment.” Fake accounts are profiles on Facebook, Instagram and Co., which are led under the wrong name.

In her message “Great concern”, Bullock expressed “the security of my family and innocent people who are exploited”. Her younger sister Gesine had also warned of online fraudsters on Instagram. She is currently getting “strange and scary emails” from men who apparently thought in a relationship with their famous sister and sometimes donated thousands of dollars to Bullock.

Most recently, several cases were known in which the tricksters used the face and voice of stars to create profiles and fake videos fake with the help of artificial intelligence. Most recently, the story of a French woman who had lost 830,000 euros of online fraudsters. These had pretended to have a relationship with the Hollywood star through fake profiles as Brad Pitt and his relatives and believe that the woman believed that they had a relationship with the Hollywood star.
