RTL and the NDR announced the 24 acts on February 4, which will take place in the German preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. The field of participants is widely scattered. From electronics, pop, rock to reggae to Metal there is something for every taste of music. In addition to many young newcomers, old hands of the music business also compete – one or the other is already known from the TV. The band “from Fall to Spring”, for example, took part in the preliminary decision in 2023.
Reunion with a previous “The Voice Kids” winner
“From Fall to Spring” was founded in Saarland in 2008. The band around the identical twins Philip and Lukas was on their first European tour with their mixture of modern rock, rap and electronic elements. “We have been passionate ESC fans all our lives,” the band is quoted by RTL. “We have always imagined how it would be to stand on this stage and to pull the audience throughout Europe with our energetic show.”

The Munich band Cosby has already performed in many countries and has already released four studio albums. It connects alternative pop with electronic influences. “We feel the ESC stage in its variety and with all the exciting creative acts from the different parts of Europe as one of the most great,” says the musicians. “Here music from a wide variety of cultures comes together peacefully and we would like to be part of it to represent Germany.”
The band has been presenting fire tail medieval rock, folk and metal since 2004. It started at medieval markets and is now on festivals and in clubs in Europe. Why do you want to get involved in the ESC? “We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but our music is all the more.”
The British singer-songwriter Moss Kena (27) from Berlin was already on tour with stars like Rita Ora and Bastille. In addition to the great stage experience, he also brings charter sequence: with “Fireworks” he ended up in Germany and Italy a number 1 hit, with “Forgot How to Love” he was in the top 10. He emphasizes: “It is time, time, That Germany is also involved at the top at the ESC – and I am ready to do everything for it. “
