“Buffy” should get reboot: Where are the stars of the series today?

“Buffy- In the spell of the demons” is probably one of the best known and most popular series of the 1990s and early 2000s. The young Buffy Summers, played by Sarah Michelle Gellar (47), got it to do with more than the everyday problems of a teenager. It is also not yet clear whether the stars will return from back then. , according to which Gellar is still in final negotiations on a “Buffy” comeback. With “Buffy” and the films “I know what you did last summer” and “ice -cold angel” Sarah Michelle Gellar became one of the hottest young stars of Hollywood at the end of the 90s. Numerous engagements, including two cinema real films of the cartoon classic “Scooby-Doo”, followed. Despite the iconic role of the Buffy Summers, she could not secure absolute megastar status – maybe also because she did not concentrate on jobs in front of the camera.

Gellar was a co -founder of the company Foodstir in 2015 and published her own cookbook “Stirring up Fun with Food” in 2017. Alyson Hannigan (50) played Buffy’s best friend Willow. Nicholas Brendon (53) became famous as Xander, Buffy’s best friend. In the past two decades, he continued to work in front of the camera after the series, but he was particularly negative headlines. He is said to have fought with depression, alcohol and drug problems in recent years. Brendon was arrested several times and is said to have shown signs of clearing.

Anthony Head (70) embodied Buffy’s guardian Giles. He brings it to one of the most impressive creative catalogs of his serial colleagues. One who will definitely not be part of the “Buffy” comeback is a series creator Joss Whedon (60). In 2021 parts of the original cast had accused him of accusations against him.
