Ex-US President Joe Biden has signed a contract with the Hollywood agency, which also represents Brad Pitt and Ariana Grande.
Just two weeks after he moved out of the White House, Joe Biden (82) found a new appointment: the former US President will in future be represented by Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of the most influential talent agencies in Hollywood. Her illustrious client list includes absolute megastars such as Brad Pitt, Post Malone, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus or Ariana Grande.
“President Biden is one of the most respected and influential voices in national and global matters”. “His lifelong commitment to the public service stands for unity, optimism, dignity and possibility. We feel deeply honored to work with it again.”
Return to his old agency
In fact, it is not the first collaboration of Bidens with the CAA. From 2017 to 2020 he was represented by the agency – in the period between his vice presidency under Barack Obama (63) and his own presidency. In this phase he also published his memoirs “promise me: about hope on the edge of the abyss”.
What the 82-year-old is now planning next is not yet known. Barack and Michelle Obama (61) are also under contract with the CAA via their production company Higher Ground. At his farewell from the White House, Biden said: “We leave the office, but we don’t leave the fight.”
Abrupt end of the presidency
In January, Biden had to hand over Biden to his successor Donald Trump (78) after he won the election in November 2024. Previously, Biden, after a series of public appearances, had come under pressure within the party for another four years in office. After initial resistance, he finally resigned in favor of his vice president Kamala Harris (60) as a democratic candidate. This then lost to Trump in a clear election slump.
