Duchess Meghan and Billie Eilish made a special gift from a young Californian who lost her home through the devastating fires.
A teenager from Altadena, who lost her home due to the heavy fire disaster in California, received unexpected support from Duchess Meghan and Billie Eilish. The two stars campaigned for the young woman to get a piece of heart back.
Meghan, who grew up in Los Angeles and now lives in Montecito, reported in an Instagram post about her visit to a community destroyed by the fire. There she met a mother and her 15-year-old daughter, who realized the extent of the devastation in her home.
On site, the Duchess was told a tragic story that she apparently did not leave her in peace: “The mother told me that her daughter was only looking for a single object: a T-shirt from the Billie-Seilish concert that she visited shortly before had.” But the shirt was gone – it was probably in the washing machine or dryer when the fire raged. Now everything was just ash.

The Duchess of Sussex wanted to help and considered how she could get to a replacement shirt. “I thought of everyone I know, took up a voice message and asked: ‘Can someone please forward this to Billie Eilish? That is my wish.'”
In fact, the news arrived at the singer and a package with Duchess Meghan a little later. “I have just learned that something I had been waiting for for a long time,” Meghan announced in an Instagram video while running excitedly through a house. A few moments later, she proudly held a package with Eilish fan articles in the camera. “I have no idea what that means, but it is signed for her!”, She said with a laugh and, among other things, held up a blue lunch box with a gold star.
Duchess Meghan thanks Adam Levine, especially at Adam Levine
“Are you wearing something like that now?” She asked with a smile and admitted that she felt “quite old” at that moment. The joy is great – both with Meghan and the teenager, for whom this gift will be invaluable. Meghan then expressed special thanks to Adam Levine and his wife Behai Prinsloo, who made contact with Billie Eilish possible. “This gesture means the world,” she emphasized.
In her Instagram message, the former actress also called on to continue to support the people affected by the fires. Together with her husband, Prince Harry, she is also involved in her Archewell Foundation for the victims of the disaster. The two had already distributed food and reliefs in Pasadena on January 10 and even opened their own home for evacuated. In addition, they support an initiative founded by 14-year-old Avery Colvert that specifically helps girls in need.
The natural disaster also changed Meghan’s own plans: The premiere of her Netflix series “With Love, Meghan” was postponed to March 4. “I am grateful to my partners at Netflix that they give me the time to concentrate on those affected in my home country of California,” she said.
